The Ohio Statehouse will celebrate Black History Month throughout February with free historical performances each Tuesday at noon by "We've Known Rivers," a group of dynamic storytellers that commemorate the African-American experience in American history through engaging first-person presentations. The Right to Vote was won on the backs of vigilant, courageous and suffering citizens of these United States of America. This performance by Sandra Quick, in three acts, highlights suppression techniques to The Right to Vote and the overcoming strategies of the long fought legal battles of rights guaranteed by the founding fathers of our Constitution. The performance will be live streamed online at OhioChannel.org and on the Ohio Channel Facebook page.
