St. John Episcopal Church & cemetery are the oldest in all of central Ohio, founded in 1803. The first burial was of Abner Pinney in 1804, 27 years before the church building was constructed. The cemetery was Worthington's primary burying ground until it filled up around 1860. This guide describes the stories of the earliest families in Worthington's history that are buried here.
