The final panel discussion in the Green Lawn Cemetery series will explore the evolution of and variety of memorialization at Green Lawn over time. Green Lawn originated in a specifically chosen hardwood forest on Columbus’ South Side. In accord with Green Lawn’s Victorian roots, public art and memorials were created to not only honor the deceased but to educate the living that a cemetery is “a vast sleeping dormitory of friends and family” and death part of the natural cycle.
