Genuine world-class artist, Arkadiy Gips, brings the audiences to cheers as well as tears when he plays violin. "If 'music is a king,' then Arkadiy Gips certainly wears a crown" was the media's response to the first performances of Columbus Ohio's new immigrant from Kiev, Ukraine. Coming off a stint on Madonna's 2008 Sticky & Sweet Tour, this concert will feature Gips and friends serving up a healthy dose of traditional chamber music with a side of Russian and Jewish folk classics. Arkadiy will be joined by Mikhail Popov on piano and soprano Lucy Smirnov.
