Jazz royalty takes center stage as the CJO celebrates Count Basie, Buddy Rich and the "King of Swing," Benny Goodman.

As the drummer for the world-famous Count Basie Orchestra and Mel Torme, Butch Miles quickly became renowned for his swinging big band style and fiery technique. One of jazz's top clarinetists of the past 30 years and an equally skilled tenor-saxophonist, Ken Peplowski has been an important force in keeping swing alive and vital. The Columbus Youth Jazz Orchestra (CYJO) is proud to perform prior to Sunday's afternoon matinee at 1 PM. Admission to CYJO is free with 2 PM matinee ticket.
