"Encountering the Sacred Through Art", 2D and 3D paintings and mixed media works by Suanne M. Goings, as part of the Arts in Work Spaces program, running July 7-September 30, 2010. Works will be on display at Nurtur the Salon, the Caspian II building and The Ohio Orthopedic Center in Upper Arlington.
Suanne M. Goings exhibit, Encountering the Sacred through Art, contains three chapters of work on display, created during the healing process after losing her daughter and only child in an automobile accident. Co-owner of The Art Loft, a gallery and studio in Delaware, Ohio, Goings is currently illustrating a children's book and working on an interactive guide on an artist's journey through the loss of a child. It is her hope to share the artistic process that has become an integral part of her healing.
Nurtur the Salon will exhibit "Remember What It Is That You Already Know: An artist's journey through the loss of a child", a series of Mandalas and a video of 3D Mandalas with musical accompaniment

Caspian II will display "Altars and Mandalas: A search for the Goddess within".

The Ohio Orthopedic Center will share "Holding Space: Images from the in between".
