Beauvais Lyons, a professor of art at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, will present The Art and Scholarship of Everitt Ornmsby Hokes-a mock-academic lecture that includes biographical material on the founder of the Hokes Archives. The talk also includes an introduction to the art and culture of the Apasht and the Aazud, medical and zoological prints from the archives, as well as information on The George and Helen Spelvin Folk Art Collection. His prints are in the collections of the Smithsonian Museum of American Art, Washington, DC; The Whitney Museum of American Art, New York, NY and the Philadelphia Museum of Art, Philadelphia. PA
