About the Presenter:

Hanby House Historic Site is the former home of Bishop William Hanby, founder of Otterbein University and conductor on the Underground Railroad. His son Benjamin Hanby was a composer, most known for the Christmas classic "Up on the Housetop." Visitors will hear of Hanby connections to the Underground Railroad, music and local history, the Wright brothers and the Titanic!  Located at 160 West Main Street in Westerville, the home is owned by Ohio History Connection and managed by Westerville Historical Society.
