Founded in 1873 and under the direction of James Conlon since 1979, the Cincinnati May Festival is America's premier choral festival and features the May Festival Chorus and the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra. The May Festival Chorus also regularly performs with the Cincinnati Symphony and Cincinnati Pops Orchestras throughout the year, sings in annual Carolfest family concerts in December, and hosts an annual choral workshop open to members of the community.
