The Dublin Area Art League promotes and supports the visual arts in and around Central Ohio. In addition to several annual exhibition opportunities, it is a convenient, friendly way for members to develop their talents, meet with other artists and encourage an interest in creating visual arts. Since its inception in 1985, the Dublin Area Art League's membership has steadily grown and represents many varied talents. The group includes artists living in the Greater Columbus Area, from beginners to professionals working in all media. Membership is open to adults of any level of ability. Meetings are held during the season from September through May from 7:00 to 9:00pm, the third Thursday of each month. Meetings are free and open to the public. The November and April Meetings are held at the Dublin Rec Center. DAAL also sponsors several opportunities throughout the year for members to exhibit their works. An annual spring show is held at the Dublin Recreation Center. Permanent exhibition space within the Dublin Rec Center and local businesses is also rotated among members. Participating businesses include: Harvest Pizza, Edward Jones Investment, Starbucks, Random Precision Brewery, Reiki Center.Other DAAL events include the Annual Dublin PaintOut and the Dublin Art Stroll both of which take place in historic Dublin.
