Ameristar is a 12-sided star of symmetrical shape painted red, white and blue, representing the American flag. Four legs of the star rest on the ground, four legs are perpendicular to those on the ground and four more legs extend symmetrically up into the air. The bottom four legs and three of the middle legs are painted with red and white stripes. The remaining five legs are painted blue base with five white stars in a line down the legs.
