The Mark Lomax Trio (drummer Dr. Mark Lomax, II; saxophonist Edwin Bayard; and bassist Dean Hulett) and poet Scott Woods will journey through poetry and music to create commentary about current events. Zach Hannah, the Johnstone Fund’s Poet in Residence, will recite a poem revealing his interpretation of the program. Seating is available on a first-come first-served basis. Recommended for ages 9 and older. This performance is part of the “New Music at Short North Stage” series.
