New York City’s Exceptet is a seven-piece ensemble that commissions and performs works by emerging composers. This program includes Katherine Balch’s “Tree Lines,” as well as works by Sarah Goldfeather and Paul Kerekes. Zach Hannah, the Johnstone Fund’s Poet in Residence, will recite a poem revealing his interpretation of the program. Seating is available on a first-come first-served basis. Recommended for ages 9 and older. This performance is part of the “New Music at Short North Stage” series.
