The Sound Company is run by Co-Producing Artistic Directors and Founders Jess Hughes and Sean Ryan Naughton. After graduating from The Ohio State University with their MFAs in acting with an emphasis on the creation of new works, they joined forces to explore their shared commitment to rigorous, collaborative, and multidisciplinary theatre and performance art. With this company, their mission is to give voice to the work of new playwrights, deconstruct classic texts to excavate new stories, and create new work that asks the question: how are we getting along in the world today?
