Columbus City Hall occupies a prominent location in the Columbus Civic Center on West Broad Street’s riverfront. The building was designed by Allied Architects Association of Columbus which was made up of a number of the city’s most prominent architects in the 1920s. Built in stages starting in 1928 and completed in 1949, the building’s Neoclassical Revival design gives it a solid and permanent appearance.
