The Shot Tower Gallery has presented local and nationally significant exhibitions for 41 years with a major focus on celebrating diversity in the Visual Arts, a focus on presenting African American artist exhibitions, and in establishing partnerships with our arts community for the Fort Hayes Metropolitan Educational Center. It was established 1979 by Jack Gibbs, founding Director and Judith Hagen, as part of the Columbus City Schools innovative renovation of the former Fort Hayes Military Army base.
