This exhibition will display the largest collection of Whiskey Paintings for sale in one location in the world. A Whiskey Painting is a watercolor miniature, no larger than 4” x 5” in size and is created by dipping one’s paint brush in some form of alcoholic spirits instead of water.
Exhibited for the first time, this collection of photographs captures the essence of the historic era of the train, detailing these giant machines in the background of daily life - as part of the landscape at the roundhouses and locomotive factories, train stations, city scenes, and countryside.
In big cities and small towns, from Lake Erie to the Ohio River and all points in between, the arts strengthen education, create jobs, and connect communities.
