Ohio Falun Dafa Association has been promoting an East-West culture exchange and facilitating the understanding between different communities for a better Ohio. Falun Dafa is based on the principles of Truth, Compassion, and Tolerance. It was first introduced to Ohio in 1996. Since then, a great deal of local residents have benefited significantly from the practice of this gentle exercise. Falun Dafa is a traditional Chinese qigong practice. It uses gentle movements and meditation to cultivate the body, mind, and spirit. Ohio Falun Dafa Association proudly presents the world-renowned Shen Yun shows in the past years in Cincinnati, Cleveland, Columbus and Dayton. Shen Yun Performing Arts is a spectacular dance and music show. It showcases the essence of the 5,000 years of civilization through classical Chinese dance, original live music, state-of-the-art animated backdrops, and beautiful handcrafted costumes. Beginning each year with all new programs, Shen Yun tours over 150 cities around the world and gives about 500 performances.
