Bronze statue depicting a woman with outstretched hands standing on the back of a turtle, as if offering water from the center of the circular fountain. Her body is stylized with architectural elements (like the columns details on her legs) and botanical elements (like the leaves and flowers decorating her torso and hair).
The statue and fountain were installed in the Matthew O'Brien Diggs III Plaza (part of the Burnet Woods park) in 2002, on the SE corner of Clifton & Ludlow Avenues.
