Home Run Mitch was created as part of the 2021 ARtsway Summer Tech Youth Mural Program. Instructor/muralist Ashley Pierce worked with 12 students to create a piece of public art that speaks to the community and honored the former building owner Mitch Shifrin, who tragically passed the year prior. Over 6 sessions, students learned how to create digital designs, scale them up, and create a community mural. At the end of the program, the students worked with an Augmented Reality artist to bring the mural to life.

Experience augmented reality firsthand by downloading the ArtWalks AR App.
