Triangle is a rusted steel slab sculpture shaped like a right triangle. The slab is about 4-inches thick, rests on its shortest side and is held in a vertical position by two steel rods attached at the highest point, about 12 feet up. Each support rod goes out away from the main steel slab and is anchored in the ground. One could say that these rods, being part of the sculpture also form 2-3 more triangles. The hypotenuse edge of Triangle is a jagged, irregular surface compared to the other surfaces.
The sculpture is located in the grounds surrounding the Dayton Art Institute. Triangle was a gift from Mr. Richard Sibbison.
