The series of ceramic bas-relief wall murals depicts the urban fabric of Cleveland in various periods of growth. One series of tablets consists of three sets of four tablets creating a triptych with pediment-like shapes at the top. Each set of four tablets depicts the growth of a city with Cleveland as an example. An eight-section mural depicts the wonderful viaduct structure over the Flats with a glimpse of downtown.
